Minnesota Firefighter Pleads Guilty to Stealing From Accident Victims

A Minnesota firefighter has pled guilty to charges that she stole $120 from the wallets of two brothers killed in a motor vehicle accident last June on I-94. Tara Lindquist pled guilty to misdemeanor larceny charges and will serve 10 days in jail plus 1 year probation. The plea was entered last week just as her trial was set to begin.

A North Carolina fire chief has been arrested and charged with embezzling nearly $20,000 from his fire department. Jesse Raymon Hoshall, III was arrested last week by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office. He was fire chief of the Scotch-Irish Fire Department, located in an unincorporated area in Rowan County called Woodleaf.

A lieutenant from Clovis, New Mexico has been charged with larceny for allegedly taking items from a vehicle at the scene of an accident. Lt.
