Nashville Sued by Driver Over Collision Due To Hose Falling Off Apparatus

A woman who was injured in a collision caused by “equipment or firehose” coming off a Nashville fire truck in 2022, has filed suit against the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and the driver of a third vehicle that struck her from behind after the initial collision. Kristin Boesen filed suit in Davidson County Circuit Court alleging negligence.

Injured Recruit Sues Nashville for $1.5 Million

A Nashville Fire Department recruit who was injured last summer in a training mishap, has filed a $1.5 million suit against the city. Jennifer Lockhart was injured on July 21, 2017 when she fell several feet while participating in a rescuing trapped firefighters exercise.

Arkansas Fire Suit Headed for Trial

A lawsuit filed by property owners whose building in Nashville, Arkansas was demolished in 2010 after fire destroyed a neighboring building will finally be making its way to trial. Carl and Justin Johnson, who owned “Collectible Corner”, filed suit back in 2011 claiming city and fire department officials were responsible for the unnecessary destruction of their building.
