Connecticut City Discards Firefighter Hiring List After Cheating Scandal

The City of Norwalk has decided to discard its current firefighter hiring list and retest candidates following an investigation into possible cheating. The decision comes on the heels of the resignation of an assistant chief, and the release of an investigative report. At issue appears to be the involvement of the assistant chief in the development of the oral portion of the test, and whether he provided information to his son who took the exam.
