Miami-Dade Investigating Hidden Camera in Firehouse Bathroom

A hidden camera discovered in a bathroom inside a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue station bathroom last weekend has prompted a criminal investigation by the Miami-Dade Police Department and an internal investigation by MDFR. The incident reportedly occurred at Station 69 in located in Doral.

NBC6 is citing sources saying the camera was aimed at a shower. It is not clear if investigators have zeroed in on a suspect. MDFR issued a statement saying:

  • We are aware of an incident that occurred over the weekend at MDFR Station 69. Immediate action was taken, and Miami-Dade Police were requested to investigate.
  • We are committed to the safety and well-being of our employees, and we will do everything in our power to ensure transparency throughout this process.
