Couple Charged With Stealing From Pennsylvania Fire Company

A Pennsylvania couple who served in leadership positions within their volunteer fire department has been accused of stealing from the department.

William Corter, 51, served as the fire chief for the Elk Lake Volunteer Fire Department. His wife, Elizabeth Corter, 53, served as the treasurer. They are accused of stealing more than $2,700 from the department.
