Indiana Volunteer Sentenced to Six Years In Prison for Fatal DUI That Killed Another Firefighter

A volunteer firefighter who struck and killed another volunteer firefighter at the scene of a previous accident, has been sentenced to six years in prison for drunk driving. Colby Blake was sentenced yesterday in Daviess County, Indiana.

On November 10, 2017, Firefighter Kendall Murphy, 27, arrived at the scene and was struck by Blake, who was 26 at the time. Murphy was outside his vehicle when struck. Blake suffered no injuries, but was found to have a blood alcohol level of .21%.
