Arizona Chief Charged With Embezzling FD Funds

The fire chief of the Yucca Fire District in Arizona has been charged with embezzling $40,000 from the district. Matthew Young turned himself in to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office yesterday.

According to azcentral.com, Young admitted using the money to buy personal items over the past six months. The charges are a felony. There is no word on whether Young made bail.
