Buh-bye, losers. Please leave your careers, pensions, reputations, and future chances at meaningful employment on your way out. Oh, and don't let the door hit you in the ass as you leave.

Probably seemed really hysterically funny at the time, eh?

Probably not so much now, and even less if you're convicted… chances are, you'll be some bubba's "girrfren" in the Graybar Hotel.

Plus, of course, you'll probably be sued and lose everything you — and your family — has, like your house, and your camp, and your bass boat… and your wife and kids, who'll probably want nothing to do with a buncha whackjob losers like you guys.

WHAT *IS* IT with today's emergency services folks? Have we all lost our collective minds, or has the rise of the Tea Parties convinced us that incompetence, stupidity, ignorance, arrogance, and viciousness are the same as caring?

Statter has a piece today on a fire 25 years ago in DC… a little girl rescued from the fire is now a PIO for (I think) PGFD. Would the same thing happen today? Or would our so-called brethren simply say, "Ah, she's just a n***er" and let her die? And before anyone says that wouldn't happen, we have our buddy up here in Maine, David Marsters, posting a pic of the President, with the caption, "Shoot the N*gger" and the guy in Florida who surprised at being arrested for "only shooting a n*gger," not to mention ole Georgie Zimmerman.

Hopefully everyone learns from their Stupidity.

And that the victims are OK.
