New Mexico Lieutenant Charged With Larceny at Vehicle Extrication

A lieutenant from Clovis, New Mexico has been charged with larceny for allegedly taking items from a vehicle at the scene of an accident. Lt. Christopher Elam, 32, is accused of taking three bottles from a vehicle involved in an accident earlier this month. One of the bottles was an alcoholic beverage, one was a non-alcoholic beverage, and one was seasoning.

Pennsylvania Chief Accepts Plea Deal For Theft

Embattled Wilkes-Barre Township Fire Chief John Yuknavich, facing both state and federal charges that he stole funds from his fire department, has agreed to plead guilty to the federal charges and resign as fire chief.
