Fort Worth Sued Over Sexual Harassment

A female firefighter who was forced to take a medical retirement from the Fort Worth Fire Department has filed a 55-page, 330-paragraph, ten-count complaint naming the city and five officers, accusing them of sexual harassment and violating her civil rights. Identified in the complaint as Jane Doe, the firefighter claims she was sexually assaulted while on-duty by supervisors.

Michigan FD Sued Over Junior Program Sexual Assault

A Michigan fire department is being sued by a former junior firefighter who was sexually assaulted by two firefighters while she was participating in the department’s Explorer program. The plaintiff, identified in the suit as Jane Doe, filed the complaint on August 31, 2018 in US District Court for the Western District of Michigan naming Cascade Charter Township and the Boy Scouts of America.

Jury Clears PA Fire Company in Sexual Assault of Junior

A jury has found that a Pennsylvania volunteer fire company is not liable to a former junior firefighter for sexual assaults that allegedly occurred between 2004 and 2007. The federal court jury also found that Old Forge Borough and two former police officers were not liable to the 23-year old victim identified only as Jane Doe.
