Arkansas Firefighter Alleges His Termination Was Due to Autism

A Little Rock firefighter who was terminated last December after just six months on the job, has filed suit claiming disability discrimination associated with his autism. Austin Williams filed suit against the city of Little Rock claiming a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Curt Varone has over 45 years of fire service experience and 35 as a practicing attorney licensed in both Rhode Island and Maine. His background includes 29 years as a career firefighter in Providence (retiring as a Deputy Assistant Chief), as well as volunteer and paid on call experience.
