New Mexico Lieutenant Charged With Larceny at Vehicle Extrication

A lieutenant from Clovis, New Mexico has been charged with larceny for allegedly taking items from a vehicle at the scene of an accident.

Lt. Christopher Elam, 32, is accused of taking three bottles from a vehicle involved in an accident earlier this month. One of the bottles was an alcoholic beverage, one was a non-alcoholic beverage, and one was seasoning.
